National Media Museum- Immersion

My show at the National Media Museum opened on the 12th of last month. I grabbed these shots of it just beforehand, seems like that was last week- things have been a bit hectic recently. Wallpaper did a nice piece on it and it’s going to be on the front cover of The Sunday Times Magazine, coming out soon.

I saw this in the Sunday Times too. Great stuff.
Was this shot on the RED? It looks a bit like HDR. I’ve experimented with doing this with moving images by combining scans derived from a negative at different scan settings. It worked well, but I gave up when it became obvious that video would soon be able to do this anyway. And here it is.
Very interesting blog you have here.

    Hi Karel

It was shot on a Red. They have new cameras called Epic and Scarlett, not sure if they’re on the market yet but they’re pretty incredible rez. I shot this on the Red One- also used it for billboard campaigns in the states- for example http://www.storiesthatheal.samhsa.gov/campaign.asp

Went to see this in Bradford yesterday. Really enjoyed it! It was a great & insightful perspective. Planning to use the experience & some notes I jotted down while there (mostly reactions to the pictures & the whole show) in my poetry dissertation. The same goes for Alter Ego, that was great as well! :)

Managed to see this exhibition this weekend and was really bowled over by it. A fab piece of work. I wrote a piece about it and put it on my We Like page.
